How the discount actually works — read this first

• It’s paid upfront, for every vehicle, locked in. The family rate applies to the cars you pay for in advance. We don’t set a discount off a spoken number and hope the rest turn up — the vehicles are declared and paid for at the start, and that’s the deal. Once it’s locked in it’s locked in for all of them.
• We don’t quote repairs over the phone. A scheduled service is a known job and we’ll give you that price happily. A repair is not. We won’t guess at a fault from a description — the car needs to be at the workshop. A phone guess is either too high and you walk away, or too low and we ring you back with bad news. Neither is fair on you.
• We don’t work off another workshop’s diagnosis. If you’ve been told what’s wrong somewhere else, we’ll listen — then we do our own diagnostic work before we quote or replace a single part. We’re the ones warranting the repair, so the finding has to be ours. Diagnostics is a $374 pre-paid fixed minimum charge (a dedicated two-hour diagnostic booking). It is not a free quote.

The prepaid $199 / $450 rate covers engine oil to the correct specification and a new oil filter. Every other filter, fluid, part and check is extra and quoted in writing first. An oil change is not a logbook service and will not keep a new-car warranty intact — if your car is still under warranty, book a full logbook service instead.
